7.3.17 - Independence Day

Hello Everybody!

These last couple of weeks have been pretty great, and super busy. We're still tryin to get to know our area-it's pretty big haha. But it is super beautiful here, and I love it. LOVE IT. Tezoyuca is incredible, and super green. Basically it's the greatest.

We had our Conference this last week and it was wonderful. The Spirit was super strong and I am loving being a missionary. I have learned so many things, and especially the last few weeks as a trainer, I feel like I've learned even more.

My testimony and love for missionary work continues to grow, and I am more and more grateful each day for the opportunity to be here. We have challenges, but we grow so much more from them, and always come out on top. It has been an incredible process for me to see how much my companion, Sister Diaz is already progressing in her testimonies and being. She was already an incredible young woman when she came, but now, and with each week, she continues to grow in testimony and Spirit.

I just wanted to remind all of you of your homework to read the Book of Mormon! ;) hahah just kidding, it's not homework, but an invitation. I promise that as you read it, and look for things in specific, you will be blessed with answers to questions, and you will receive the comforts that you need.

01.16.17 - Changes!

Hello everyone!! I hope all of you are doing splendidly. I'm doing wonderful! I´m loving my mission so much! I love the people, I love the food, I love the mountains we have to climb everyday. The literal ones, and the spiritual ones. I am so grateful for this sacred time for me to learn, grow, and teach. Inviting others to come to Christ has been so incredible, because everyday we do it, my relationship with my Father in Heaven grows more and more. Changes! So last night, we got a phone call from our AP, and he let us know that we are having changes. I don´t know why, but I´m moving areas. I´m headed back up to Cuernavaca with some other missionaries. When I get more details, I let you all know why haha :) This last week was an awesome one! Lots of teaching, and lots of growing. We also discovered that my companion has low blood pressure, and bad circulation. So she needs to get some shots for it I guess... She´s been complaining of her arms and legs f...

01.30.17 - Don't Forget to Pray

Hola de Mexico! I hope you all are doing great :) This past week was pretty awesome. We had a meeting with our Presidente and he shared some incredible things with us. It was for my generation of missionaries, just to see how we're doing, and to give us some more advice on how we can be the best missionaries we can be. I also got to play the piano for it, both were hymns I had never heard of before so that was an adventure. A very rough one at that. But the meeting was incredible. I learned so many things, and how to become an even better missionary. My testimony of prayer continues to grow and grow more each day, and I know without a doubt that He hears us when we pray with our hearts. I am so grateful for the love and comfort we can receive by offering our hearts to him. 6.19.17 - First Week of Training

Well I'm going to consider this week a success. One of the best and most stressful weeks of my life. But I loved every minute of it :D My new companion is suuuuuper awesome and we get along like peas in a pod. She is from the Dominican Republic and she speaks English :D so I'm pretty happy that I get to practice my English every once and a while. Especially because my brain was forgetting how to talk. I don't know how to explain it .... I can think in English, and write in English, but talking en English has become more difficult than I'd like to admit. but it's fine hahaha :D We practice every once and a while and it's pretty wonderful. We are in Tezoyuca and it is super beautiful here. There are tons of trees and the mountains are covered in green. I feel right at home :) The members here are wonderful, and they love visiting investigators with us. So everybody is happy.
