6.12.17 - I'm going to be a mom!!!!

Haha Hello everyone!

Yes, if all of you are worried about the subject line. It's true. I'm going to be a mom! I'm going to be training a new missionary. I don't know who or when I'm going to meet her, but it's going to be today and I am so excited and nervous. On top of that, I'll be opening an area... which means I have no idea where anything is in the new area haha! I am seriously so excited though. I am so grateful for the opportunity to teach, but especially to learn! It's going to be so much fun and I can't wait to get started. We're going to be meeting the new missionaries later today and then we'll be headed to our new area. It's called Desayuca... or something like that. Not entirely sure, but it's going to be tons of fun!!!! I've already heard tons of wonderful things about my new area and I can't wait to get started.

Also, some more exciting news, we had a baptism here this last Saturday and holy smokies it was so beautiful. His name is Gabriel and he's 10 years old. His mom is working towards a date here soon, but needs to fix some things. WE are so excited for them and especially for Gabriel and the example he has set for his family. They are a family of gold and I can't wait to hear how everything goes for them.

Your missionary is doing wonderful! I am loving the mission life and all that it has to offer. I'm learning tons of new things everyday and I truly love this work. I am so grateful to be here and to be working with so many incredible young adults in this wonderful work. I know that the Lord is blessings us incredibly for our efforts and that he is protecting us.

I'm sorry I can't attach photos today, my stinkin' cable is in my suitcase in the offices with the rest of my belongings. But I will send pictures next week, as well as a full description of my new companion :)

I hope your Book of Mormon homework is going splendidly and that you are all learning lots. I promise that you will receive many blessings! :)

01.16.17 - Changes!

Hello everyone!! I hope all of you are doing splendidly. I'm doing wonderful! I´m loving my mission so much! I love the people, I love the food, I love the mountains we have to climb everyday. The literal ones, and the spiritual ones. I am so grateful for this sacred time for me to learn, grow, and teach. Inviting others to come to Christ has been so incredible, because everyday we do it, my relationship with my Father in Heaven grows more and more. Changes! So last night, we got a phone call from our AP, and he let us know that we are having changes. I don´t know why, but I´m moving areas. I´m headed back up to Cuernavaca with some other missionaries. When I get more details, I let you all know why haha :) This last week was an awesome one! Lots of teaching, and lots of growing. We also discovered that my companion has low blood pressure, and bad circulation. So she needs to get some shots for it I guess... She´s been complaining of her arms and legs f...

7.3.17 - Independence Day

Hello Everybody! These last couple of weeks have been pretty great, and super busy. We're still tryin to get to know our area-it's pretty big haha. But it is super beautiful here, and I love it. LOVE IT. Tezoyuca is incredible, and super green. Basically it's the greatest. We had our Conference this last week and it was wonderful. The Spirit was super strong and I am loving being a missionary. I have learned so many things, and especially the last few weeks as a trainer, I feel like I've learned even more. My testimony and love for missionary work continues to grow, and I am more and more grateful each day for the opportunity to be here. We have challenges, but we grow so much more from them, and always come out on top. 2.15.17 - Hola Amigos!!

Hello everybody! So sorry I didn´t get a written email sent out last week. It was kind of crazy. And the time we`re given just flies by haha. We are doing awesome here in good ol Chilpo. I love my area so much and I love the people. Everyday it`s getting a little bit hotter, and the work just keeps getting better and better. I love getting to serve the Lord at this time, and I love the people I´m serving with. Just lots of love!! :) And the food is wonderful. hahha at this point, I can handle the spicy foods a lot better than my companion... and she´s from El Salvador. I´m not entirely sure how spicy they like the food there, but she doesn´t like too much spicy here. So that keeps it interesting :) Oh my heavens, one of the members here makes tacos in the evening for a living and hoooooly smokies. Literally the best tacos I have ever had in my whole life.
